His stripped gears were moral, not mental. Once you decide that your cause is more important than your humanity, the only factor that remains is basically a question of how competent and resourceful you are.

I worked in the counter-terrorism field, one way or another, from 2001 to early this year. So, while I condemn his actions as monstrous and wrong, as an aficionado of deconstructing terrorist threats, I'd give him a solid A for planning and execution. If 5% of the Islamic terrorists could act as efficiently as Breivik, the world would be a far more dangerous place. If it was 25%+, the world would be on fire.

So you think that the planning that led to the 9/11/2001 events were done haphazardly? Four airplanes, three hit their targets.

And so were the bombings in Nairobi and Aden?

And talking about the world being on fire — be patient, it will happen, especially with the West being in a deep coma.
