A whole new thing now, right?
A lot of older people I know who are together don’t get married because the legalities make a mess for everyone. They don’t want to give the kids inheritance problems, lose their insurances, social securities, pensions, etc.
I’m not saying it’s right but it’s the world.
so are these two old ladies independently wealthy? they just forfeited their husbands social security benefits...
