So Sen. Durbin, if everything gets resolved and by next summer unemployment is down to 5% and the economy is booming. Does that mean, under your logic, that Republicans "own" the recovery as well and should get all the credit?

I didn't think so....

Translation: Economy tanks = Republicans fault. Economy Recovers = Obama and Democrats get all the credit. (or at least that's how the democrats and MSM will play it)
