OSLO, Norway (AP) -- Anders Behring Breivik said he was a boy when his life's path began to turn. It was during the first Gulf War, when a Muslim friend cheered at reports of missile attacks against American forces.
"I was completely ignorant at the time and apolitical but his total lack of respect for my culture (and Western culture in general) actually sparked my interest and passion for it," the suspect in Norway's bombing and mass shooting wrote in his 1,500-page manifesto.

The guy is characterized as an anti Moslem fanatic but, from all the reports I saw, which were not a complete description, I’m sure, I get the idea that his targets were not Moslem.
His targets were the up and coming young politicians and activists of the Left, the children of the Left.
He regards the Left as the destroyers of the West, the Muslims as one of the means the Left uses.

When I first heard this, I though by “children” the young people shot were LITTLE kids at “camp”.
I have read that the victims averaged from mid teens to mid twenties. It was a political camp :

Agree sadly.... Even these “victims” will exploit their childrens murders.

There’s a pic up at Pat Dollards, taken from a chopper, showing the guy busily shooting people. Now, one rifleman in that chopper could have cut the whole thing short. How many lives saved if Breivik had 10 minutes instead of 90?
