I think a lot of Establishment types are talking up Bachmann now, but they’d never actually want her as their nominee. Examples today would be J Rubin with this piece, and K-Lo (Mitten extraordinaire!) over at NR.
I also think there are more operatives with the same angle behind the scenes, but no, I don’t have proof of that. Just circumstantial evidence at best.
She's always on offense.....hit her and she'll bite your head off.....very much like Palin.
Misogynist much? How would you prefer she respond to irrational unfair attacks? Bend over and just take it?
“not so sure Im sold on the evidence that Bachmanns a natural executive”
Good point. I don’t recall EVER seeing her golf.
Seriously though, I’m basing my assessment on a demonstration of leadership and an official record of adherence to principle.
But I understand that, to some, a good executive is someone who builds consensus, plays roles and feels other people’s pain.
We’ve done that. To death nearly. And all we have to show for it is an overstocked inventory of unicorns, impassable drifts of fairy dust, down under employment and devastating debt. We are circling the drain and holding hands does not seem to be helping as advertised. I only hope I can at least catch the corner of that dang “There’s no ‘I’ in TEAM” poster before I go down.
I don’t give a hoot if it ever rains Skittles again. I want a president with the balls to slide down that rainbow of diversity, kick that lousy Left-handed leprechaun smack in his entitlements and bring America’s pot of previously private gold back home.
I’m looking for that hard line. I’ve seen Bachmann’s work. She draws a bright and straight line. I want to give her the big pen.
On Ed Rollins, I left the intended trail earlier and failed my point on Rollins that you made. The Palin broadside aside, I would say that Bachman’s perfectly framed retort to Pawlenty is vintage Rollins, and one more sign that he is an accomplished street fighter who is more than prepared to take on ALL candidates who fire in Bachman’s direction, or try to move in on her well earned early ground.
Yep, Rollins at least makes contenders of his candidates.
Gotta remember that sentence.
Has all that changed now that T-Paw’s competing with Bachmann for higher office?
We all have our candidates and our reasons!
Who’s running his campaign.........Bugs or Daffy? Pee-plenty is making a fool of himself.
Oh my gosh you are funny! Unicorns!! Fairy dust!! Exactly. We don’t need no more.
Love reading your posts and better...I agree with them.
Bachmans perfectly framed retort to Pawlenty is vintage Rollins.
Bachmann and Palin are the only republicans that know how to respond. she has guts....just like when Palin KNOCKED OUT LETTERMAN. .

Wrong move, Mr. Timmy.
Michelle made you look like “Mitt Lite.”
Which, in fact, is what you are.
I’d agree with you re: Jen Rubin but not K-Lo. Seems to me she supports both Palin and Bachmann equally without a preference for one over the other.
And yet only more evidence that Bachmann is being pushed by the LSM
I couldn’t actually bear to run through the whole thing. Matt Lauer is so slimy, it is a trial just to hear him, much less have to watch.
That said, she literally nailed him. I don’t know how much more bitten-off his head would have to have been.
And the moment now is the full-fire on Bachmann. A lot of very slimy people have their guns aimed and discharging at her 24/7. It is time right now for her to stop the assault and if that means verbally knocking heads, that is what needs to happen. Into the stunned silence she can then pour the reasonable rebuttal that wouldn’t otherwise even be heard.
