what would the Mexican response be if a tank platoon from Ft. Bliss blundered from El Paso to Juarez?

About the same. Mexico’s military isn’t trying to provoke a fight with the U.S. They did the calculations a while back and know that they would lose. Their army is aimed at internal stability, or would be if the narcotraficantes weren’t bribing the best soldiers and shooting the best who wouldn’t be bribed.
