No, this is ok.

The good: Any blood will be on Reid’s and 0zer0’s hands. And it brings the issue up again next spring. That is no small thing. No tax increases.

The bad: no meaningful cuts whatsoever, brings down morale as we realize we can’t do it all right now, the GOP leadership felt it necessary to blow sunshine up our asses.

I think you are right, and in this case the good outweighs the bad. The question of real cuts will come back in the election. If there are any fiscally conservatives in the campaign (Palin?, Bachmann? who else?) they will have the chance to really rub it in on the spenders (RINOs, Obama). You will need a conservative president, at least retain the House, to be able to push through real budget cuts. But one should also remember that real reforms will probably be better if they are planned, rather than pushed through in desperation.

Some real conservatives like Fred Thompson and John Bolton are saying take your winnings even if they are not all you wished for, as lons as you know that you are even better positioned to win the big battle.

No tax increases.

Wrong!!! The tax increases are built into Obamacare and the 'Bush' tax cuts will expire again in 2012.

The 'No tax increase and budget cuts over 10 years are both BS lies. Big lies!
