MSNBC Contributor Goldie Taylor Says Corporate America Is "Literally Raping" Minorities (VIDEO)

MSNBC contributor Goldie Taylor just made a very questionable word choice.

When Martin Bashir asked her about the recession's "catastrophic" effect on minorities, this was her answer:

"Catastrophic is right, you know. If you look at african-american and hispanic households, fully a third of them report zero wealth. Not even a dollar in positive wealth. A lot of that wealth was tied up in the homes that they spent more than 75% of their income either buying or maintaining, and so when those homes were taken away, the wealth went with it.

"If you put on top of that affordable health care and access to health insurance, then, you know, most of the bankruptcies in this country, especially from black and brown people, are driven because of health care costs, and so when you ask yourself what has happened to black and brown Americans, I can tell you what happened to them.

"Corporate America happened to them. People who are, you know, literally raping these people over medical costs, exorbitant medical costs and then to turn around and swipe the homes that they worked their lives to build, you know, over some subprime lending issues. So I think that we ought to re-examine our priorities as a country and re-examine how to go forward. I don't think that's the america we're banking on, the America we all believe in."

The ant and the grasshopper tale again.( Aesop's Fables)

Hard days are here and the grasshoppers have nothing to eat.

You must give them your stuff.

Um, I think you meant to use this version from RedState

The ant works hard In the withering heat and the rain all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies for the winter.

The grasshopper thinks the ant Is a fool and laughs and dances
and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference
and demands to know why the ant should be
allowed to be warm and well fed while he is cold and starving.

CBS, NBC, PBS, CNN, and ABC show up to provide pictures of the
shivering grasshopper next to a video of the ant
In his comfortable home with a table filled with food.
America is stunned by the sharp contrast.

How can this be, that in a country of such wealth,
this poor grasshopper is allowed to suffer so?

Kermit the Frog appears on Oprah with the grasshopper
and everybody cries when they sing, ‘It’s Not Easy Being Green…’

ACORN stages a demonstration in front of the ant’s house where
the news stations film the SEIU group singing, We shall overcome.

Then Rev. Jeremiah Wright has the group kneel down to pray
for the grasshopper’s sake, while he damns the ants.

President Obama condems the ant and blames President Bush 43,
President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus,
and the Pope for the grasshopper’s plight.

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid exclaim in an interview with Larry King
that the ant has gotten rich off the back of the Grasshopper, and
both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.

Finally, the EEOC drafts The Economic Equity & Anti-Grasshopper Act
Retroactive to the beginning of the summer.

The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number of
green bugs and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes,
his home is confiscated by the Government Green Czar and given to the grasshopper.

The story ends as we see the grasshopper and his free-loading friends
finishing up the last bits of the ant’s food while the government house
he is in, which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant’s old house,
crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn’t maintain it.

The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.

The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house,
now abandoned, is taken over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the
ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.

The entire Nation collapses bringing the rest of the free world with it.

I wonder if the Blacks and Hispanics ever consider that their lack of wealth comes from their lack of education and lack of work ethic? Nah, can’t be that.......It’s whitey’s fault, Yeah, that’s the ticket....

Hard to fix stupid and lazy. Clearly, this combination requires more government sanctioned racist programs such as affirmative action/racism, minority set asides/racism, special rights/racism, power for the black klans/naacp, and other such progressive options necessary to correct for the incompetent and lazy among us.

I hate people who use “literally” when they mean “figuratively”...Not as much as I hate people who think it’s cute to spell ‘probably’ as ‘prolly’ , or the idiots who (thanks to an imperfect spellcheck program and an inability to sound out words) actually think ‘definitely’ is spelled ‘defiantly’...but still...

Since economic and social problems were all the fault of Bush, are these problems the fault of Obama???

Are we really a racist bigoted nation if we have a black president, and blacks in other high positions such as attorney general?

If these problems are really due to racism, bigotry, etc. and we have blacks in major positions of power, then why aren’t the blacks in positions of power using their power to solve these problems?

Or are the problems due to issues other than racism?

I wonder if she understands the meaning of the word “literally”.

Or of the word “raping”...

But then, why let details like the meaning of words get in your way when you’re on a good lieberal talking points rant?

"If you look at african-american and hispanic households, fully a third of them report zero wealth."

They are obviously not reporting teeth, Cadillacs, Lincolns, and "bling."

I've worked all my life and I have never owned a Cadillac, nor a Lincoln, and all my teeth are made of bone.

I hate people who use “literally” when they mean “figuratively”.

I cringe when I hear a sports announcer say, "He literally tore his head off".

Either way....its bad.

Or of the word “raping”...

In the words of Whoopi Goldberg - when defening child molester Roman Polanski - she doesn't mean 'rape / rape.'

Lol! I like the latest trend of “it could of” or “I should of been...”. See it more and more on here. (Of course ‘though, it took a Freeper to school me on the proper use of ‘who’ and ‘whom’. Ha!)
