Washington (CNN) - Sarah Palin will return to Iowa over Labor Day weekend as she continues to stoke speculation about her presidential ambitions. The former Alaska governor will be the keynote speaker at a tea party rally in the Des Moines suburb of Waukee in early September. The "Restoring America" event is being organized by The Tea Party of America, an Iowa-based conservative group.

Even if she doesn’t run, I think she will be involved somehow.

But I think she’s running.

She will have to be involved, like she was in 2010 if we have any chance of sending more credible Tea Party minded candidates to DC.

It won’t happen without her. The establishment may fear her if she runs, but they really fear what she can help send to Washington.

If you haven’t seen the flick....see it! People applauded at the finish. It was well deserved.

And her Labor Day appearance in Iowa is all but certain to overshadow other GOP candidates hunting for votes in the leadoff caucus state.

Palin is a savvy campaigner.

I saw the flick last night and am very sorry I saw it. I could not sleep all night. The movie needs heavy editing and it could be a very good film.

First was the distracting, stupid visuals they inserted to try to evoke more emotion in viewers. I'm sorry, I do not believe Palin was threatened with men and knives and I saw no reason for the man with the arrow through his neck or the lions chasing down the zebra and devouring it or the earthquake and car wreck.

THEN, the last 10 minutes were spent ONLY bashing Republicans. One comes away from this film with the impression ALL Republicans are corrupt and evil with the exception of Sarah Palin.

Sorry, I know better. If Sarah Palin wants to be a team player, she will demand Bannon clean up this highly insulting movie. As it stands now, the movie gets a big thumbs down. It can get a thumbs up if they cut out the totally unnecessary parts.

As the film is now, it is intended to make anyone who has ever worked to elect a Republican to feel dirty and ashamed.

After reading your very negative review I just had to take a look at your posting history, to see where you are coming from.

I think perhaps you went into this picture with a bad attitude, and combined with your previous, shall we say less than flattering statements on Gov Palin from your posting history, and it pretty much explains this.

It`s a free country you are entitled, just that it comes across as very bias...JMHO

I admit someone had told me they did not like the film but still, I did not expect it to be this upsetting.

I could only think of the horrible crisis we are facing in this country right now and I see really great people in DC working their hearts out to fix it and then this very negative film is making the rounds in this country undermining what they are trying to do.

Sarah Palin is not the second coming of Jesus, which Bannon tries to make her out to be and to try to elevate her while tearing down all the other good, decent, hard working people actually doing the work is insulting.

You have never seen me say negative things about Sarah Palin and even now, this film is not her doing BUT if she has any scruples and if she cares about her country, she will demand that Bannon clean up this highly insulting film of all other Republicans. As far as I am concerned, the ball is in her court and if she does not tell him to clean it up, it reflects upon her.

This film has the potential to be a very good, pro-Palin film but Bannon blows it with his attempt to exaggerate with special effects and his desire to insult all other Republicans.

For those of you making the trip....there are still many hotel/motel rooms available on the west side of Des Moines...reasonable ($90 to $125).

Look for Holiday Inn, Country Inn, Candlewood Suites, Courtyard by Marriot, Best Western, and La Quinta.

All have AARP, AAA, and Senior discounts available.

Don't wait to reserve...rooms will go fast as the date approaches.

Confession is good for the soul.

Don’t you think it’s well past time to admit that you’re really a Tom Harkin groupie? It will ease the burden on your soul and allow you to sleep peacefully at night.

I mean really, you seemed to have no problem with the real vitriolic attacks on Gov Palin, so that clearly wasn’t the cause of your sleeplessness.

Bad granny...

Oh, and since you’re such a detail person, you are aware that Gov Palin had nothing to do with the production nor had approval rights of Bannon’s movie. It’s a done deal.

PS
The old line Alaskan GOPers were a corrupt bunch, some of whom did time.

You are crazy if you think I have anything in common at all with Tom Harkin.

Why does it make Palin supporters feel better to insult anyone who may point out that there may be areas where she may be lacking.

By all means, I know that film is not of Palin's making and if you'll notice, I even say that.

At least try to be fair. I have NEVER attacked Palin like you have unfairly attacked me.

Palin's only responsiblity here is if she does not try to talk Bannon into cleaning up this potentially a very good film.

I say good for what Palin did in Alaska but at the end, they go too far and try to paint ALL Republicans with the same corrupt, unethical brush. I don't buy it and they don't deserve it.

What they really fear is that she can send herself to Washington—as president.
