The republican establishment thought this “man” was the perfect person to represent their party in the last election.

As for the Mac attack we say, ‘out with the old and in with the bold’. Take a hike old man and take a few of the cross-the-aisle bloated geezers with you. For the times they are a changin’...

Sorry Juan old boy. The only reason I voted for you in 08 was because Sarah Palin was on the ticket. If it hadn’t been for Palin, I WOULD HAVE STAYED HOME!

Same, although I would have voted down ticket.

How the (bleep) did the senseless dope, become the GOP candidate in 2008? How??

You can thank the GOP party for their open primaries and left-leaning states being allowed to vote early. The GOP leadership is wholly against conservatism.

Tellingly, McCain cited today’s Wall Street Journal editoral excoriating conservative opponents of the Boehner plan as out of touch with reality for thinking they can do better. McCain’s angry tirade on the Senate floor today perfectly captures the rising frustration, anger, and panic of more responsible Republicans and GOP establishment figures as they come to terms with the true depths of the delusion that is now afflicting some on the right — and the danger it is now posing to our economy and country.

Gee... no bias there. /s

I have held McCain as responsible and part of the reason we got Obama. He could have exposed him and didn’t. I will never forget the debates and McCains television speeches...he was beyond a whimp...BECAUSE he never intended to win over Obama...rather he was indirectly supporting Obamas being elected by not exposing him for who he was...and he never intended to. The fix was in and we all knew it...and McCain was a willing participant in that fix.

So I cannot nor will I honor the man...nor will I ever again.

Obama should dump Biden for McCain.

I’m sure McCain would accept.

Oh, yeah, it sure is delusional to think that the government should live within its means, as America's citizens are supposed to do. If they continue this attitude toward Tea Partiers, and just regular Americans who can't find a job because of the crappy economy they've helped the Democrats create, the 'responsible Republicans' are going to get a nasty surprise, come Nov. 2012.

I can’t beleive this SOB keeps getting reelected. Next time hes up just vote for the real democrat in the General election. If the “moderates” republicans can’t bring themselves to get rid of this backstabbing traitor, let them have a real democrat for a while.

John McCain was just on Hannity lying his ass off. One point stood out as a glaring example of his sick twisted thinking.

McCain claimed that the Senate will not pass Rep. Daniel Webster’s Prioritize Spending Act of 2011 (H.R. 2402) so if the government shuts down Obama will decide what gets paid and Republicans will get blamed. If, on the other hand, Republicans pass Boenior’s bill and Democrats fail to pass it, Democrats will be blamed for the government shut down.

H.R. assures that the interest on the debt will be paid, Social Security and Medicare will be paid and the military pay and benefits will be paid. McCain didn’t explain how voting against a Republican proposal to assure seniors, our debtors and our military are paid would endear Democrats to voters. Obviously, in what is left of McCain’s below average brain, voting against paying those things first is a bad thing.

The truth is; for the majority of Democrats, voting against assuring seniors, the military, and bond holders, will be paid is political suicide. A veto would insure that Obama is a one term president.

McCain is a stain on the society and a disgrace to the Senate.

Ain’t that the truth. Anytime anybody called Obama on the carpet, Johnny McCain was there to issue a statement condemning them.

His job was to play wingman for Obama. I hope he was paid well.

So the debt limit debate has come to this: John McCain, who you may recall was the GOP’s 2008 standard bearer, is now openly accusing conservatives of actively misleading America with their completely unrealistic demands, which he labeled “deceiving” and “bizarro.

I find it bizarre that McCain is advocating a path that will without any doubt financially destroy our nation and lead it to ruin. Perhaps he should read about the German Mark after World War I. The financial collapse lead the the rise of Hitler and a new World War.

Sometimes I think McCain is a Republican, sometime I think he is a democrat, sometimes I think he is insane. I am leaning toward the last.
