The Washington Times approached Mr. Wu on Wednesday and asked why he simply does not resign immediately before the debt ceiling vote if the wellbeing of his children "must come before anything else." Mr. Wu remained elusive and his non-response gives clear insight as to how much every vote counts during the debt ceiling fight on Capitol Hill. Is it possible the Democratic leadership asked him to stay until his vote on the debt ceiling was cast?

Wu is a Congressman. His vote isn’t going to matter one bit.
Right, the RATs want him gone but he refuses while hiding behind this fig leaf.
The Dems need every vote. If they didn’t need his vote, they would have made sure he resigned already.
I thought this jackass resigned.
He said he would resign after this debt crisis was over - meaning never!
Just like Weiner hung on for days after his big announcement, maybe Wu wants another paycheck?
yes, he admits he’s a lowlife sleezy scum.
he admits he is not worthy to sit in congress.
but, he IS worthy, to vote on the debt ceiling etc.,
that will decide the future of ALL our children,
Probably wants to keep an eye on a particular congressional page.
Had he been thinking of his children he wouldn´t be in the mess he´s in.
