Some homeschoolers are strongly against vouchers, because it is a sneaky backdoor into government involvement in homeschooling. Others see it as a wave of a positive future in academic freedom.

One of the very FIRST things Obama and the dem congress did was cut off the Wash DC voucher program. True payback for the teachers unions using students in terrible schools as fodder, while the ONE blithely sent his kids to private school.

How this doesn’t translate to votes from the black community is amazing to me. If someone took a wrecking ball to my child this way, I would NEVER vote for him or his party again.

I’m all for making it easier for parents to send their kids to school someplace other than the government run monopoly school system. If the teacher unions are against vouchers, they must be a good thing. Now the Californiacation school system wants to teach your kid about the gay life style!
