Unions want a debt ceiling hike?
All polls basically say the public doesn’t want it. They also dont want tax hikes, and they dont see Obama and the Democrats as good guys.
So I say GO FOR IT! The unions have been blowing money like mad lately, and failing all over the map. Why not run some more ads people are going to DVR past.
The public is basically schizo. They want the government to cut spending, but if you specifically mention the programs where the real money is, they don't want cuts in those.
Nibbling around the edges in discretionary spending isn't going to do it.
Then you have Democrats lying through their teeth.
Until we get a president who will look us all in the eye and tell us the unvarnished truth and present a plan that will REALLY work, we're going nowhere.
