Republican Rep. Rooney rips RSC

Republican Study Committee member Tom Rooney is circulating a stark letter calling out committee chairman Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) and accusing the group of threatening “not only the future of the RSC itself, but that of our hard fought majority.”

The tough letter comes a few days after an RSC staffer was caught trying to gin up conservative groups to target other Republicans who were leaning in favor of Speaker John Boehner’s deficit reduction bill.

Rooney’s letter to Jordan says that the incident, in which RSC staffers sent emails to conservative listservs urging them to pressure GOP lawmakers within the RSC, “serve only to showcase the intolerant, short-sighted perspective we believe has become pervasive within the RSC and its staff.”

The Rooney letter comes just days after a surreal scene in the GOP conference Wednesday, in which Republican members chanted “Fire him! Fire him!” at executive director Paul Teller and other staffers found sharing the emails.

Funny thing about that hard fought majority. We give and we can take away. I didn’t fall into a depression over the corrupt losing their seats in 2006 and 2008 and if they want war I won’t experience a tinge of remorse if the public punishes the new crop for following the mannerisms of the last.

Politico. The Voice of the Enemy.

To be taken with the appropriate grain of salt...

Rooney doesn’t care much for the tea party after his brother Brian tried to carpetbag his way into Michigan’s 7th district and got flattened.

Unfortunately the guy we elected is saying that he’s leaning toward voting with Boehner because the bulk of his constituency is pushing him that way.

The RSC pressured members to vote against Boehner’s bill? No! Say it ain’t so! My God, cats and dogs living together. Jeez, so I guess the only person allowed to bring pressure is the Speaker? How dumb. Basically, it looks like you have two sides shaping up. Boehner and his socialists, versus Jordan and the freshman. I guess the question is whether there will be an open revolt in 2013. I’d love to see open warfare before then, but realistically, it will be the next Congress before we have a chance to dump Boehner. If he’s still the Speaker of a GOP House in 2013, we have very little chance of cutting government, no matter who controls the Presidency or the Senate.

Always nice when a RINO outs himself. Who is going to challenge this moron in the primary?

A “Revolution”, where you need to start by ‘clensing’ from within, was started in 2010, and will continue through 2012. Unfortunately, Boehner and the rest of his ‘clique’ grabbed the helm as ‘incumbent’ beneficiaries of the political victory in 2010. However, they did not represent, nor lead, in the efforts to gain such victory. THEY MUST BE REPLACED and “primaried” if necessary.

Politico. The Voice of the Enemy.

It's also the voice of RINO backstabbers.
