And this is why the GOP should have stood it’s ground. The GOP did stand its ground. They supported raising the debt ceiling by more than two TRILLION dollars from day one, and almost the entire Republican caucus voted to do so.

They should have stood their ground on that too. Boner gave that away right out of the gate. Well sort of, McConnell cut him off at the knees with his plan first. Most of this is on McConnells lap.
