It is my understanding that the basic reason why the Bilderberg conference exists is so that policy makers can give honest opinions, that they cannot give at home.

That is it.

Why is it invitation and secret? Because things are said that either cannot be truthfully told publicly or that if what was said got out, it would be so twisted and contorted that whoever would dare speak such a truth would be finished politically and economically.

If the members aren’t going to act on what is said the meetings would be meaningless. If these elites are going to act, then it’s only logical to consider these secret goings on to be conspiratorial.
