I thinking the House will now need to rename the “bill from “Cut,Cap and Balance” to..... maybe “Stop, Drop, and Roll”??

Now that chart is just crazy talk, dude. Why, everyone knows Obammy inherited this mess from the Bushies. All 14 trillion of it.

Yeah, I know. Dems never deal with facts.

To put things in perspective, I took the raw chart and superimposed some dates-based notes.

Too bad The Stupid Party never puts this kind of data out to the American voters.

“We need to wait for 2012 to expect any real reform.”

With all the carping, someone finally gets it. This is turning the Titanic and you don’t do it on a dime.

Wait unit the details and note this is the first in a long turn for a big boat.
It’s a win and it’s the beginning not the end.

geesh

There are no tax increases so that’s good....

Nope...tax increases would be off limits UNLESS recommended by the Super Congress of 12....and we know what that means...taxes are coming!

Yes indeed....China is ramping things up as is Russia...two very powerful nations with equally powerful intentions worldwide....and they’re cuddling up to one another while they do so. IMO Ob is completely in the dark on these. we can only hope some of our military and CIA etc leadership, along the ranks, are keeping an eye on these.

Have you heard much of the famine escualting in N.Korea? Last I knew International help programs were still saying no food without them being able to make sure it gets to the people rather than their military and elites.

Democrats, unlike most Americans, do not want a balanced budget…

That statement needs to be said more often.

Since there's confusion on taxes and the committee:

Under the framework, the Joint Committee of Congress will work off a current-law baseline, as required by the 1974 Budget Act, effectively making it impossible for Joint Committee to increase taxes.

Don’t mean to be harsh but that trend line (which ignores 2008 and 2001-2002) is way too generous to Bush. His true trend line is much worse—huge deficits when he left in 2008 and a surplus when he arrived in 2000.

Bush was perfectly happy to spend like a drunken sailor in 2007-08 (with or without Pelosi/Reed’s arrival). 9/11 did dramatically increase expenditures but why didn’t Bush cut the crap out of everything else to pay for the war on terror. With a 80% approval rating after 9/11 he could have gotten it done. Bush also added to the entitlement mess with prescription drug coverage.

Graph does show how much worse Obama is than Bush though. His two years exceed Bush’s 8 years. Still your graph inappropriately lets Bush off the hook in my opinion.

Just cause Obama sucks worse on the budget doesn’t mean Bush should be rehabilitated.

By stocks. The idiots on Wall Street will see this as a good future sign of progress. Of course, unless the manipulators massage things enough to go down all of 50 points, which means nothing.

Bet gold goes down tomorrow.

They'll be dumping this crap onto the Republican win in 2012....that's the plan....like when Clinton left the Whitehouse and all his staff trashed the place.

Meanwhile Obama gets his money to throw around to his favorites. They can still run wild moving money around because there is no budget and hasn't been for two years. And they've rooted their people so deep into the Government a Presidential election win is not going to loosen those tentacles.

Since when has this administration followed the law? They are required by law to have a budget every year and balance it.....and even now with all this political theater there still isn’t a balanced budget in place.

Impossible for them to increase taxes?...just watch them ...they will do just that. There are no repercussions for them breaking the law.

Boehner did NOT get rolled. He passionately believes in this crap as a way of coddling and paying off the special interests and rich RINOs who are his lifeblood. He is a whore. He is despicable. We need at least ONE political party working for the American people. Not for the investment bankers, not for the welfare trash but for the American people!!! Purge Boehner. Purge Cantor if he goes along to get along. Purge McCarthy (see the Fox article). Purge McConnell. Purge their slimeball friends.

Until we remove the RINO slime from leadership and from public life, there is NO DEFENSE against Comrade O. Accept absolutely no excuses. My own Congressman has always been one of the good guys. I know him. I like him. Nonetheless, he sold out and voted for Boehner's craven treasonweasel proposal to increase Obama Claus's election year allowance by $2.8 TRILLION. Trying to build a political movement on such trash as these surrendermonkeys does not work. Destroy them and depend on God. If this deal is enacted, then there are no other options.

And, PUHLEEEEEEZE do not insult our intelligence by saying we cannot get what we want because the Demonrats have the White House and the Senate and how we just have to win one more election and then just one more after that and then.....ad infinitum, ad nauseam. What our Tea Party elected Congress needs to do is JUST SAY NO. Make the Demonrats and RINOs solely responsible and defeat them all next year in primaries and elections but NOBODY survives politically, particularly the ruling class GOP surrendermonkeys if they vote to raise the debt limit by even one red cent. If every GOP Congressman stands in solidarity and votes NO, then we win. It is just that simple. Make the slime crawl and beg and then spit in their faces. Note (make an actual list and keep it next to your computer) which FREEPERS (no more than a handful really) are just dying to rationalize support for the surrender and remind them every time they pose as conservatives here.

Oh, and just WHAT is so desperately secret about the negotiation of the people's business that it cannot be transacted and negotiated live and on television so that the people can watch? Thieves never want to be observed in action.

This is about what I expected. We don’t have the numbers to force anything big and no one wants to be blamed for whatever may result from a failure to raise the debt ceiling. If we want big change, it will only come with majorities and a new president in 2013.

With a House majority and solidarity in casting a unanimous GOP NO against raising the debt limit, we have all the power we need. The fact is that Boehner and McConnell and the "leaders" and all too many followers are such corrupt and useless prostitutes and have no intention whatsoever of punishing Obama and the Demonrats because they would have to punish the corrupt among their affluent GOP "moderate" buddies as well. Let their careers be slaughtered and may they be remembered as the last GOP posterkids for corruption.

If we don't get a near infinitely better deal, then we have been sold out and we should return the favor in next year's primaries. We need a national RINO hunt to make RINOs an extinct political species and we need it NOW!!!

What the House does not pass, Comrade O cannot veto. The Demonrat Senate cannot enact ANYTHING without the House also voting for it. This entire fiasco smacks of... You'll have to vote for it so that you can THEN read it. I have had more than enough of this crap. How about the rest of you?

We won't get a better deal if we listen to or tolerate the RINO surrendermonkeys.

And your advocacy of surrendering to the bastard in the White House is the standard for ridiculousness. If that’s what you want, become a Demonrat and stop posing as a Republican along with every spineless cretin in the GOP caucus who votes for this crap. Destroy the RINOs, each and every one.
