A default now would be better in the long run for our children and grandchildren, if things don’t change quickly, they were curse our generation, and deservedly so, for letting things get so out of control.

"...and avert an unprecedented default on its debt."

The USA has sufficient tax revenue to avoid default unless the treasury does so deliberately.

A default is not being averted, the statement is a lie. Increasing the debt however does mean that the point will come when the USA does default.

However it works out, I'll bet Pelosi does not pay for it.

Once again..... WE ARE NOT DEFAULTING!!!! Jeez. We would pay some of the checks and hold out on non essentials. In other words we would have to prioritize.

Email or fax this to every media outlet that spews the “default” mantra.
