DeMint surrenders. Pathetic coward.

Just chill. Sen. DeMint is NO coward. Sometimes, when a battle is lost (and this one IS, effectively) it’s better to save your ammunition, keep your powder dry, and reposition your troops so that no more harm is done to them at this point.

Sure, stand against the enemy, expose and cry out against his obvious plans, but wait for a more opportune time to launch a full scale counter-assault. DeMinst knows this. He’ll bid his time. Boehner, McConnell and the Inside-the-Beltway RINO’s have made that certain — for now. That won’t last forever.

Exactly. It's not a surrender, it's a tactical retreat.

The problem, though, is that DeMint is even in this position. The fact that Boehner and, apparently, enough other Republicans supported this bill to get it through is what really pisses me off. This battle shouldn't have been lost. But it was, and not because of DeMint.
