It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t. If NATO wins, then we’ve helped bring on the Caliphate. If NATO loses and we pull out, then we’ve shown the world that we are no longer worth their fear or respect, because we can’t win a simple little war.

So if in future we tell them not to do something against our interests, they can safely ignore us.
