She seems like a nice woman. That being said, she suffered a serious brain injury and who knows if she is mentally capable of formulating a decision that affects the entire country. She should have received medical clearance to speak on our behalf.

You’re absolutely right; my understanding is that she is incapacitated, to the point where she is not expected to keep her seat. Emotions aside, this is wierd and probably illegal; would she be allowed to sign a loan agreement in her current mental state (and have it stand up in court)? If she can, then all the power to her; if not, this is outrageous.
I never believe a liberal can be “nice”; they can be polite, diplomatic, whatever, but “nice” or “good” are too strong for people who hold some views.
By who’s authority do they judge someone who just suffered a gunshot wound to the head “fit for work serving the people”?
