Rumors are spreading quickly that radioactive materials were accidentally leaked from a state-of-the-art Chinese nuclear submarine… China possesses around 70 submarines. Six of them are nuclear-powered … U.S. spy satellite captured photos of a Chinese Jin (Boomer)-class nuclear submarine moored in Xiaopingdao, an island near Dalian. The submarine is equipped with intercontinental ballistic missiles with a range of 8,000 km.

It remains unclear why none of the crew were able to escape, why the boat was recovered so quickly, and exactly when and where the accident took place. The vessel built from Soviet designs based on German submarines dating back to World War ll.
Rab thinks the dying part was a more critical part than the sink on command part.

Disregarding the source and editorial adjectives, I'd say the U.S. exercise acomplished what it set out to do. Flushed a ChiCom boat. Anything made public was some good PsyOps.
