As a high school teacher I concur, and that is why my husband and I homeschool our children. When my comrades ask how they will get their socialization skills I tell them that their father will once a month take them to the bathroom, beat them up, and then try to sell them drugs. We had two broken jaws from two different fights last school year. Both of the students with broken jaws were attacked from behind, but were also suspended because of our “zero tolerance” policy. The school suspended the attackers according to our worthless progressive discipline policy, but they were later moved to our alternative school when the parents of the attacked students hired lawyers. Our alternative school, by the way, is taught by our most experienced football coaches.

I have a three year old grandson in my other sons family and from the day they knew she was expecting the secision was made to homeschool him from the get go.

Course it helps he has a brother- in- law with five kids who have all been homeschooled. Amazing kids and well grounded in every way.
