President of ECFA says that churches to be controlled financially
The Trumpet ^ | Dr Greg J Dixon

Posted on 08/02/2011 6:39:06 PM PDT by GeronL

The preachers of America didn't have to wait long to find out where this Grassley probe was heading. It's heading further toward Nicolaitanism, which God told the church at Ephesus, he hated.

Nicolaitanism is where there is a special priesthood that is exalted above the people. In order to keep the people happy in their slavery, the government through the IRS is producing approximately a million Judas Goats in America by giving pastors, Rabbis, imams, and other cult leaders, special tax breaks and benefits that regular church workers such as music ministers, Sunday school directors, Christian school teachers, clerical workers, etc. do not receive. Even though the church may license these "lesser workers" as ministers, unless they do what the IRS defines as "sacerdotal duties", which is defined as "baptizing, giving communion or performing marriages" they do not qualify as a state clergyman. Even if they do reach that high and lofty perch, they had better keep exact records, or they will be denied their benefits. Read on and weep.

Where this is all heading is a point at which the IRS will stipulate the amount the pastor may receive, based on the amount the church receives in offerings.

You’re not a man of God unless you have a book deal or have CD to peddle on your syndicated radio show.

Sodomites Mock Kingdom Baptist Street Preachers Pastor Joey Faust ordered to court

http://unregisteredbaptistfellowship.com/trumpet/7.php

Kingdom Baptist Church of Venus, Texas, (www.KingdomBaptist.org) has had a Friday night street preaching ministry in the same area of downtown Fort Worth, Texas, for the last 11 years (with 10 years in downtown Dallas before that). We have also had a Saturday ministry at the abortion clinics in the same area. In all of these years, we have had no significant problems with the police or anyone else.

But lately we have been receiving a lot of harassment, especially from the sodomites, and citations for small things such as setting our tract box down, which isn't even a violation, etc. When we go to court, the policemen that cite us don't show, and the charges are thrown out. It's just to waste our time and money. However, things keep escalating.

For a few months, some young men have been coming out to oppose us, by mocking and blaspheming with a loud speaker. They are very crude and disgusting. In early June, they were on top of a building yelling down at us and made a sodomite threat about our children.

A few weeks later, as we were walking to our regular place to begin preaching, one of these young men made a sexual, sodomite threat to two of us, about what he was going to do that night. We ignored him. But an hour or so later, he and some of his friends came over and said, "It is time." And they began to dance in vulgar ways all around us.

On the other sidewalk, a new crew of homosexuals, dressed like vampires, etc., began to dance like savages. The one who made the threat, came up to a brother in our church (the same brother that the sodomite threatened to attack), and got in his space (too close) with his vulgarity. I therefore moved and placed a finger on his chest to move him back and give him a warning. At this point, a police officer who is known to us yelled out, "I know you didn't just touch him, Joey. You know that is my job." He came over, very heated, and asked the sodomite if he wanted to press charges (which he gladly agreed to do).

I received a citation for assault. It all seemed planned. We cannot keep track of where the officer is at all times (usually he appears to be on his cell phone receiving text orders to issue us citations). Therefore, we believe that our force was very reasonable based upon the perceived threat (as well as the verbal threat).

Not if they refuse tax-exempt status. Many churches are doing so, giving them the freedom to preach and teach what they want and what salaries their staff receives.

This can be too tough to administer. We tried to restrict not-substantially-related advertisements from using nonprofit mail rates.

Eventually someone figured a weaselword way out of the problem but the legislation is still there authorizing USPS to restrict what churches, et al, can say in their advertising.

The biggest crisis came when someone noticed the Seventh Day Adventists were advertising beans!

It happens to be a big item with them since they have a major focus on food as part of the total observance of their faith. There are SDA members who eat only beans. Some eat only certain kinds of beans. Others eat only nuts, or have a cup of nuts each day.

That's kind of a foundational thing with many SDA folks.

Once we got through the practical questions of "how do we know these beans are for purposes of meeting religious obligation" we ran into the cold hard fact that yet other nonprofit organizations running the same advertising for the same beans would have to pay a higher price ~ the argument being that those beans in their hands were not substantially related to the purpose of their organization.

It was pretty obvious to everyone that the SDA situation took the Congress' well thought legislative initiative right out through the roof ~ beyond our ability to jump and shout.

Let me make it simpler ~ water has many purposes. Many religious groups use water in ceremonies. They also use water for other purposes. It's really beyond the power of any bureaucrat sitting on a waffle bottom chair in an executive suite to figure out which flask is for which purpose. And beans aren't always beans.

Which gets me to my point ~ the proposal here is hypothetical. I seriously doubt IRS hires folks smart enough to handle the issues. Fur Shur, USPS which does hire folks of very high intellect to handle the hard parts was not able to do so.

Doesn't mean IRS doesn't have some idiots who imagine they are getting even with those bad boys who used to toss dirt clods at them as they walked to or from the Synagogue, Church, Temple, Grotto, Mosque on Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday ~ they'll still be there, but presumably we can get a Commissioner of Revenue at IRS who is bright enough to know what can't be done.

Cameras are cheap. If this guy isn’t having someone film everthing (especially the cops), I’m not going to stir up much sympathy. And if he can’t street preach without initiating physical confrontations, he needs to find a new line of work.

The person screaming threats of sodomy rape right in his face was the initiator of the confrontation.

what is this all about?? Certainly churches have always been tax free institutions. But I have never heard of a priest, pastor or rabbi being free from paying taxes. Indeed our’s, about five years ago was audited and since his personal expense records were sloppy, had to pay another $1000 or so in taxes.

Black Robe regiment churches are deliberately refusing tax exempt status and talking about politics with religion just like the churches of our founders.

There are many around and still more that are giving up their exempt status rather then kowtow to the government.

You forgot being able to predict the exact time of the return of God and “end of the world”.

Churches should never have registered for tax-exempt status, they were already tax free without being made to wear a muzzle.

Scream back. You hit first, you’re going to be the one defending yourself in court. But I would suggest that neither screaming or hitting is a good witness. I doubt this guy’s ministry is very productive. Is this guy Black? If so, he may be the one I remember in downtown Dallas. If so,he wasn’t accomplishing anything then, either.

Like the bozo on the DART rail who disturbs folk’s quiet time in the morning by preaching in a loud voice. He may get off the train feeling good about himself, but he isn’t accomplishing anything else.

yelling down at us and made a sodomite threat about our children.

Record them, and post the vile videos on youtube. Homosexual "tolerance" in America is a lie. Very few people can stomach them. Pull people aside, and you'll see this is true.
Youtube videos will show those who 'pretend' to tolerate them what it is they're REALLY pretending to tolerate.
