LOL. No, I’m afraid I’m not bureaucrat material. I don’t like reading that crap and would just vote no on everything. I’m not FOR anything. Except actual cutting, that is. It’s not “no new taxes,” it’s NO NEW GOVERNMENT!!

I’m a firm believer in this across the board:

In our current crisis [whatever it may be], government is not the solution; government is the problem!

Denham and my rep, Frank Wolf, must use the same teleprinter. I get the same kind of lame replies as you.

My congressman voted against.

He is Randy Neugebauer.

He isn’t a Tea Partier, either, because he was elected before that grass roots movement caught fire. I would call him an old-school conservative.

In the Obamacare debate, when Bart Stupak D of Michigan decided to “stand up against abortion” then wimped out to Obama’s “executive order” trick, Randy was heard to say the words “baby killer” while on the House floor waiting in line to speak.

All “you know what” broke loose from the Dems.

Randy said he was referring to the bill’s provisions that would allow abortion payments and not to Stupak as an indiviual.

OK I will respect your wishes on that and not try to twist your arm. But a strategy of voting NO on everything sounds pretty good to me right now.

In every battle, there is one man.

There is one man who rallys the troops; one man who rushes to the front of the line, and picks up the muddy flag.

One man who first holds the flag aloft; one man who begins to wave it back and forth in large arcs, so that all may see it, and rally around it.

Jim. Thanks for being that man.

By golly, that letter is almost word for word identical to the one I got from my Dem. Sen. Rockefeller, after I blasted him a good one. I think they all have these letters already made up to fit both sides. No difference in the lot of them. Intense anger here.

The only way Hahn would hold a townhall is if she could have Pelosi on speaker phone to act as ventriloquist for Hahn her puppet. Such a shame the vacuous dopes of this district voted down Huey. He would have been a brilliant congressman. Mind if I ask which city you’re in? I’m in Redono Beach.

West has been a big disappointment so far. Hope he gets it together before it’s too late.

You must be one of those schitzoid hobbits. ;)

Excellent! Glad to hear it. I've been fortunate to have conservative representation for decades now. In the House, anyway. My senators are Boxer and Feinstein. I'm glad that we can share that one bit of hope.

It's hard to imagine a congress-critter more arrogant and morally reprehensible than Nancy Pelosi but Barbara Boxer manages to pull it off. Together, they epitomize what is wrong with Kalifornistan.

Didn’t Denham come from Peter Frusetta’s old 28th district state assembly seat in Hollister?

I remember Frusetta was the only state legislator with his name listed in the phone book and he would actually answer and talk to you if you called!

I always thought Denham was kind of squishy on a few things...

Remember that dumb-ass Democrat Marjorie Margolies-Mezvinsky from Pennsylvania? She got into office by PROMISING her constituents that she would NEVER vote for tax increases. Sooner than you could shake a stick, the old bull males of the Democrat Party marched her sorry ass onto the floor and she voted for the largest tax increase in history. And in 1995, she was promptly voted OUT OUT OUT!

Denham has just had his Mezvinsky moment. As others have already noted, he was sent to WDC to STAND FIRM and RESIST the crap being heaped on us. Obviously, he thinks he is in a safe district, and that it was safe for him to stand with Obama, and against his voters. I hope that all Republicans return the crap to him and all the other cowards who will not fight the good fight.

That being said, and you know I mean this with all the desperation I can shout: Why aren't about 200 million Americans sitting bolt upright about 0300 with their faces pale and drained of blood, and terrified about what is happening? How in GOD'S HOLY NAME can all these people smile as their nation is quickly being driven to literal oblivion? I tell you in all the horror and truth I can muster Jim - I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND IT! GOD HELP US!

I’m with you. I don’t understand how any conservative could think this was a good deal. Extremely disappointed in Denham. The DC “leadership” got to him. West too.

West has been a big disappointment so far. Hope he gets it together before it’s too late.

He voted for the Pigford reparations, he criticized the tea party and he voted for the debt ceiling fiasco, he's done for Jim. Three strikes and you're out.

That is a man I thought would be a great Palin VP choice.
He talks the talk, but won't walk the walk when it counts for conservatives.

Always found Jeff to be all talk when he was up in Sacramento; looks like nothing has changed.
