Ticker Guy:
Remember that the lament from the Administration and Congress was that the common man had lost over $500 billion to the market decline in value since the “debt debate” began.
Well, they passed the bill that Obama and the rest said would stop the bleeding.
THE CUMULATIVE LOSS IS NOW WELL NORTH OF $1 TRILLION AND MAY BE AS HIGH AS $1.5 TRILLION DESPITE DOING EXACTLY WHAT BOTH CONGRESS AND OBAMA SAID WAS ESSENTIAL TO STOP IT.

HUSSEIN is a liar, plain and simple, and when people finally wake up to this fact, the country will be a better place, until then,,,,,epic fail.

A lot of plants are out dated. The one I work for is, but we make good $$$ because every machine, even though still being used, is pretty much at zero asset value on the books because of depreciation.
(I participated in one of the periodic inventories about 20 years ago. one of the blowers I was looking for had a 1936 date. it had been rebuilt a few times, I am sure!)

I think manufacturing might be too far gone to bring back, so is customer service. Had a computer issue last week, spent an hour on the phone with someone who I could barely understand, the only saving grace was that he didn’t pretend to be American, he actually gave me his first name Ranabeer something or other, an Apu accent!
