When these mobs are rampaging on foot, they don’t usually have a car. Either they aer leaving a park on foot, as in this case, or they arrived in a tourist zone on mass transit. In no case have I heard of a semi-automatic rifle being produced by a flash mob to take out someone resisting their attacks.
Not saying it can’t happen, but I have seen no evidence of it yet.
Respectfully, no one has resisted a flashmob violently YET. I just put this here for intelligence value because I am trying to get people to be forearmed AND forewarned.
This is not exactly the same situation but it illustrates how quickly someone can produce a “choppah”. There is always one nearby and it’s only a shout or a quick nextel chirp to bring it.
