The President Who Wasn't There (Pres. Illusion)
The American Thinker ^ | August 5, 2011 | James Lewis

Posted on 08/05/2011 5:50:48 AM PDT by Texas Fossil

We have a president named "Obama." If you believe your media -- (hah!) -- he is a kind of Űbermensch, a more-than-human giant intellect. Or, as one addled dork said two years ago, Obama must be A Light Bringer. That's why the Norwegian Nobel Prize committee got the hots for him so bad that they had to give him the big prize before he did anything. Like Algore's Peace Prize, it was awarded for postmodern (Po-Mo) -- that is, completely fictional -- good intentions. No actual achievements were wanted or needed.

Since Marxist college professors are not going to do this job for us, I will now perform a postmodern "deconstruction" of the so-called "president" of the "United States." (Those sneer quotes are Po-Mo sniggers for things that are obviously fictional except that normal people think they are real. Like "money" and "freedom.")

They Have Plans For America

America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: its patriotism, its morality, and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, America will collapse from within. - Joseph Stalin

I've felt for months now that Zero's popularity was suddenly going to wane. I keep waiting...but, for the first time, I believe I am seeing it. It's just the odd, pointed question at one of his many press conferences, or the lack of pictures from his stupid 50th bday bash....just little signs that the Golden Child is losing steam with his adoring supporters. And is feeling it.

I keep thinking of Michael Jackson. He was the most adored entertainer in the world....then he was the no nosed pervert, just months later. I see a similarity in these two and it has nothing to do with race. More like bizarre celebrity cult worship. The higher (and with no reason) it goes the deeper it will fall and the guy will end up exposed as a fraud.

Let's hope I'm right. It would do a lot for our spirits to see this fraud exposed. Been hard seeing through him when the “culture” has tried to sell him as something so special. Gag me.

"he is ... a more-than-human, giant intellect."

Obama and his communist terrorists pals Ayers and Dohrn fancy themselves intellectuals...

The Center for Public Intellectuals & The University of Illinois-Chicago (UIC)
April 19th-20th, 2002, Conference

[Participants include: William/Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn, Sen Barack Obama]

April 19th-20th, 2002
Chicago Illinois Union
828 S. Wolcott

This conference is part of the Center's mission of helping to create a more engaged civil society, working towards social change, fostering coalitions between theorists and activists, and combating anti-intellectualism in contemporary culture. It will be both a celebration of ideas and a rigorous examination of the roles and responsibilities that intellectuals play in society.

I. Why Do Ideas Matter? (a keynote panel)

We introduce the “meta” theme of the conference by hearing “success stories” from diverse voices discussing their experiences intervening intellectually.

Timuel Black, Chicago activist; Prof. Emeritus, City Colleges of Chicago
Lonnie Bunch, President, Chicago Historical Society
Bernardine Dohrn, Northwestern University Law School, Children and Family Justice Center
Gerald Graff, UIC, College of Liberal Arts & Sciences
Richard Rorty, Stanford University, Philosophy

III. Lunch and Public Encounters

Alternative breakout tours led by Chicago activists. Tours of Bronzeville and other communities, and visits to organizations that are working on partnering theorists with activists.

IV. Intellectuals in Times of Crisis
Experiences and applications of intellectual work in urgent situations.

William Ayers, UIC, College of Education; author of Fugitive Days
Douglass Cassel, Northwestern University, Center for International Human Rights
Cathy Cohen, University of Chicago, Political Science
Salim Muwakkil, Chicago Tribune; In These Times
Barack Obama, Illinois State Senator
Barbara Ransby, UIC, African-American Studies (moderator)

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that ["intellectual"] Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' — both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

What a great line: "Obama is just as Styrofoam as Phony John Kerry, but he pulled enough wool over enough eyes to win. That's the only difference."

Very witty article!

In the recent Battle of the Budget, House Speaker John Boehner thought Obama was flip-flopping every hour just to head-fake the Republicans...But fifty years ago Charles De Gaulle gave the answer: some people tell so many lies that they can't keep track of the storyline. They never know if they're lying even as the words are coming out of their mouths.

I noticed this during the budget dispute. Obama essentially said nothing of any substance, but kept up a stream of vague, contradictory but haranguing statements that he could not possibly have believed or even understood at the time he was saying them. But it really doesn't matter to him.

Obama doesn't pay much attention to reality because he doesn't need to: he has always had his handlers, who basically point him in what they feel is the appropriate direction and tell him what to do, and he has always been obssessed with getting power, so that when he suddenly decides he wants to enact some part of his personal psychodrama, he'll just be able to go ahead and do so because "he won."

He said whatever he wanted during the budget "negotiations" because he simply doesn't believe that our system has any power over him and he is therefore not bound by anything he or anyone else says.

John Kerry is a bag of pus.

Yesterday upon the stair
I met a man who wasn’t there
He wasn’t there again today
Oh, how I wish he’d go away

0bomber doesn’t just listen to the voices in his head, he regurgitates them verbatim. Thus, he is a victim to his own mind. Who says the government doesn’t use mind control?
