Tea Party: Liberals Want to "Break the Back of Conservatives" in Wisconsin

—By Andy Kroll

| Fri Aug. 5, 2011 7:41 AM PDT

The tea party arrives in Wisconsin today, kicking off a four-day tour to rouse conservative voters and help protect the six imperiled Republican state senators facing recall elections on August 9. Spearheaded by the Tea Party Express, the "Restoring Common Sense" tour brings together four different conservative groups—TPX, Tea Party Nation, FreedomWorks, and the Patriot Action Network—and plans to hit nine cities in what the groups see as a crucial battle to keep the GOP senators in office, and thus prevent Democrats from jamming up Republican Governor Scott Walker's agenda.

On Friday morning Tea Party Nation blasted out a life-or-death missive to its members on the importance of the recalls. TPN's leader, Judson Phillips, accused liberals and Democrats of wanting to "break the back of conservatives here in Wisconsin" via the recalls and drive the state into bankruptcy. Referencing the winter labor upheaval in Madison, the state capital, Phillips wrote: "Liberal mobs attacked the capitol building and at one point trapped at least one Republican lawmaker."

He goes on:

The left lost. So they are fighting back. They have filed recall papers against 6 Republican Senators. If three of them lose, it will flip control of the State Senate back to the Democrats and the fiscally conservative Governor Scott Walker will be hard pressed to do anything to cut spending.

This recall election is setting the stage for next January when the left is going to try and recall Scott Walker. By law, January is the earliest they can do this. Millions of dollars from radical left wing groups has flowed into Wisconsin along with millions of dollars from Unions.

[...]

As we tour Wisconsin the next few days, we need your help. If you can make it to Wisconsin, join us for the tour. If you cannot, spread the word about the tour to anyone you know. Details about the tour are on the front page of Tea Party Nation.

Phillips' plea, not to mention the uniting of four different tea party groups for the bus tour, can only be seen as a sign of serious concern about how the six GOP senators will fare in next week's elections. And if recent polls are any indication, they've got good reason to worry.

Recall races show potential for mass struggle

Published Aug 4, 2011 8:32 PM

The Wisconsin AFL-CIO and other labor, community and student organizations are mobilizing for the next recall elections on Aug. 9. They are aiming to oust six union-busting, pro-austerity Republican state senators.

The right-wingers passed a draconian state budget in June, which makes the deepest cuts to schools, health care and communities in Wisconsin history. It raises taxes on seniors and working families by $70 million, while providing $300 million in corporate giveaways. African Americans, Latinos/as, women, children and the elderly, already hit hardest by the economic crisis, will be plunged into destitution if these cuts aren’t resisted and pushed back.

Thousands of workers and community members are knocking on doors, protesting and joining in actions such as the Wisconsin State AFL-CIO’s week-long “Truth Tour.” The statewide campaign began at the Teamster Hall in Green Bay on July 16 and will continue through early August.

This mobilization provides a forum for those impacted by Wall Street’s austerity measures to speak out. It is also building support for the recall campaigns and increasing solidarity among labor, community and student organizations.

“We are mighty in thought, presence and the work we are doing every day,” said Sheila Cochran, secretary-treasurer of the Milwaukee Area Labor Council, on July 26 at the tour’s labor council stop. Cochran noted, “They call us special interest. They are right. We do have the special interest of the working people of Wisconsin in mind.” (http://wisaflcio.typepad.com/)

Mahlon Mitchell, president of the Wisconsin firefighters union, told the crowd, “We have to keep taking it to the streets. Let’s keep fighting. Solidarity.”

The article states The right-wingers passed a draconian state budget in June” Its my understanding that WI. has a balanced budget. The schools are doing good, smaller class sizes and all. The rest of the country should have Wisconsin’s problems.

They may get it even if they don’t want it. With so much leftist cult and union money pouring in, I’m sure ACORN style fraud will be rampant.

I, for one, am sick and tired of the Commies running their mouths, yapping like a bunch of irritating Yorkies. I wish they'd start something for real, so we'd have an excuse to start taking it to their a**es.

“They have been in charge in Wisconsin for so long they think they OWN the place..

And pretty much they do...”

And the reason why they have been in charge is that most conservatives send their children to liberals (unions) to be educated...it is called public schools. No wonder I here conservative adults make such stupid comments as “you almost have to be a liberal when you are young, but you eventually grow out of it”. When will conservatives wake up to the fact that we are handing over our own children to the enemy to be trained...you can never win that way.

“SEIU is a monster..”

I agree...so why do conservatives send their children to be educated by a monster?

The goal: “The coming of Humanism is so great a change in religion that its significance will be apparent only as people become aware of its implications, probably a generation hence.” “Humanism A New Religion” by Charles Francis Potter, published in 1930.

The plan: “Education is thus a most powerful ally of Humanism, and every American public school is a school of Humanism. What can the theistic Sunday schools, meeting for an hour once a week, and teaching only a fraction of the children, do to stem the tide of a five-day program of humanistic teaching?” “Humanism A New Religion” by Charles Francis Potter, published in 1930.

The result: Read any local newspaper...our culture has changed and we (conservatives) have allowed it to happen be handing over our children.

“Because they do not want or can’t homeschool..”

For most of the people I know it is because they “do not want”...it would inter-fear with the way they want to live...letting their children be brainwashed is just so much easier...

Unfortunately most people have such a short range outlook. They live for the moment and don't really plan for the next generation or two.

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.

Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children.

So if we follow God's plan as told us in the Scriptures we should be planning on leaving an inheritance of righteousness unto our children's children...and it seems to imply that there will be some wealth involved as well. But instead most are living for themselves...more in line with...

Isaiah 22:12-13 The Lord, the Lord Almighty, called you on that day to weep and to wail, to tear out your hair and put on sackcloth. But see, there is joy and revelry, slaughtering of cattle and killing of sheep, eating of meat and drinking of wine! “Let us eat and drink,” you say, “for tomorrow we die!”

And when we live only for ourselves it leads to...

Exodus 34:7 “...maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished; he punishes the children and their children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation.”

So if we live for God there will be blessings for us and our children, but if we live for ourselves we will leave a legacy of punishment. As a culture we have embraced the idea of the “Me generation” and “if it feels good do it” and “I am spending my children's inheritance”. And then with children growing up in this environment we wonder why this country is in the shape that it is.

Sorry for the long response to your short ping...sometimes I just need to get on my “soapbox”.

Is that what the State Fair thing was?

Good question.

It's related to some degree.

Holder's People have been given the go ahead to "get in the faces" of Conservatives, "bring a gun to a knife fight" etc and pretty much cause as much mayhem as possible.

Like the homosexuals in Hitler's SS, they will be the first to be sacrificed to the alter of Obama/Marx along with the homosexuals who enjoy so much latitude for perversion in this country at this time.

More action relating to the title of this thread:

We have some great news and some worrisome news.  The great news is that our first day on our Wisconsin Tea Party tour has been a fantastic success.  We have pictures of our second rally in La Crosse, Wisconsin below for you to enjoy.

But we also got the news that liberal groups have teamed up to dump several hundred thousand dollars more into their efforts to RECALL Republican State Senators and take control of the State Legislature.  Check out this report from the liberal website Huffington Post:

So we here at the Tea Party Express are stepping up our efforts to fight back too.  We have a statewide TV ad campaign and today we put out 90,000 telephone calls to Wisconsin residents to fight back against these RECALLs.

We need your support now more than ever.  We have just 4 days left in this campaign before the RECALL elections take place.

Now, take a look at the photos from our La Crosse rally - the second rally we held this day.  We were honored to have one of those RECALLed Republican State Senators, Sen. Dan Kapanke, attend the rally, so we invited him to come up and speak.  He received a hero's welcome!

Finally, to reiterate, we really do need everyone's help.

Wisconsin is being tested.. do the Unions OWN the State or what?..
If they do donating (by others) would be a waste..

The people of Wisconsin MUST CHOOSE... Maybe the Unions DO own the State..
If so, they will get what they deserve..

I hope not.. They have allowed the Unions to control for a very long time..

Ownership is ephemeral

They must be fought tooth and nail, fight fire with fire.

Truth and American Conservative principles will overcome the faschist power grab by the anti-American Obama/Marxist/ChicagoCrimeMachine/ACORN etc out there.

Never surrender, never give up.

The people of WI are fighting back, let's encourage them!

Latest report that I have recieved:

American Grassroots Coalition

Friends,

Last week we stood strong in Washington and had a major impact on the debate.  While we did not get Cut, Cap & Balance, we stopped Congress from giving President Obama a blank check.  We stopped Congress from allowing President Obama and Harry Reid to raise taxes in order to pay for their spending addiction.

Now we are on to the next big battle of the recall elections in Wisconsin.  We have partnered with Tea Party Express for a “Restoring Common Sense” tour to support the Republican Senators that are being recalled.

Usually politicians are recalled for not doing their jobs.  These Senators did their jobs! They went to Madison and worked with Governor Walker to balance the state budget, while 14 Democrat Senators fled to neighboring states.  Now, they are being unfairly targeted because they stood on conservative principles in order to restore fiscal responsibility to the state.

There is no battle more important in our country right now.  President Obama and his Organizing for America, along with the SEIU, AFL-CIO and MoveOn.org have all pumped money into this state in an effort to recall these Republicans.  If the Republicans are recalled, it will only embolden the left.

We must stand strong for fiscal responsibility and reign in the out of control spending that plagues Washington and state houses across the country!

We are traveling across Wisconsin and holding rallies for the next four days.  You can find the tour schedule HERE.

Yesterday, we kicked off the tour with stops in Hudson and La Crosse.

In Hudson, we had a very successful rally after being greeted by at least 50 union thugs.  They were nasty, mean and obnoxious, but that is to be expected.  We are a threat to their liberal agenda.

Hudson Rally

Today we are headed to Kenosha and Thiensville.  We are headed into the heart of liberal land, so we expect many more union protestors.

We will update you later on today's stops
