It will be interesting to see whether this sort of crap happens in Virginia, where I hold a CCW permit. It’s also good in Pennsylvania, where I maintain a second home.

Between my wife and I we typically carry 48 total rounds. If we are hanging out with the couple we usually go places with, the total for the four of us is over 100.
I consider myself as brave as the next fellow but if several dozen to several hundred young hoodlums came at me, I would try to get away. I would hate to have to do so, but I also would not attempt to rescue anyone else unless they were very dear to me.
On the other hand, if I had a high capacity autoloader and a couple of spare mags, I really do think I would stand up to them. I suspect I would be arrested and tried but somewhere sometime, one has to try and stop it short of sure suicide.
We just experienced this in Pittsburgh Sunday evening. My mom said she heard Glenn Beck warning people that the Rev Jackson was encouraging the blacks youtes to get fired up.
