So throughout the entire article (the excerpt I read above) there is not one single mention of weapons. So the Fair’s response to the racial violence of people leaving the fairgrounds is to check bags of people going INTO the fair???

They were already checking bags yesterday before this happened.
Unless they cut off people’s hands and feet, they won’t stop anything, since the mob was punching and kicking their victims.
A friend was there and took some pictures yesterday afternoon. I’ve never seen so many black kids at the fair before. I go every year and while there are often black kids and families enjoying the fair like anyone else, there usually aren’t large numbers of black teenagers like this.
They may get rid of the midway just like Summerfest did about 20 years ago when it became a focus for hoodlums. Punks ruin things for everyone.
