“Super Groveller?”

I thought the G was for Geithner.

He looks good in a cape. Let’s see how far he can fly.

I know about overwhelming the system, and indeed, that is exactly what is being done.

However, they could have never succeeded without the aid of the ignorance, stupidity, and greed of the american population in general.

I’m begining to wonder if the only sound course of action is to simply leave the USA while leaving is still an option...

You can just tell that statement was made for spin and damage control purposes. Nefarious.

Quite the contrary S&P is telling you that there is no amount of revenue possible which can sustain the Democrats spending plans and projects.

People will go back to a barter economy before they will work for nothing. It was the Democrats who opposed the 13th Amendment, Harry but you lost.

Of course. If they raise tax rates too high companies will stop expanding (or even go bust) and they will end up collecting even less revenue.

Sure...as far as S&P are concerned they don't care how the US solves its problems, just as long as the deficit is brought under control. That means either a) increasing revenue (which to all intents and purposes means raising taxes) or b) reducing expenditure (which to all intents and purposes means cutting back on public services) or c) doing a bit of both.

Borrowing more money (raising the debt ceiling) just puts off the evil day a bit longer.

I hear you...We have been called absurd names, demonized as terrorists, our wallets and savings raped, our kids futures stymied by socialism, told to get our asses in line, talked down to like we are infants, told we are stupid, lied to in broad day light by both the pol's and the media (ongoing I might add), our liberty crushed by the boot of government. Our means of providing have been stripped and taken away by agencies we did not elect. We have f'ing czars in this country and no one knows anything about these un-elected "officials".

I wish I could "community organize" and get a couple hundred thousand citizens to purchase new high powered rifles and send a copy of the receipt to every member of both the house and the senate along with a note:
NO, you cannot have more of my earnings and wealth and I intend to protect my liberty. You want more? come and ask me personally.

Just remember… the House, under Boehner, passed a plan with bipartisan support that would have averted this downgrade on put us on the right path: "Cut, Cap & Balance" (HR 2560).

What did Obama & the obstructionist Senate say?

Harry Reid: "Over, Done, Dead"

White House: "Duck, Dodge and Dismantle."

Republicans as well as democrats stole trillions of OUR hard earned tax dollars and distributed it to their wealthy banker/financier buddies.

Now they want to raise our taxes because they don't have enough money? Really, I mean seriously?

It's time to downsize the federal government. Shutdown departments and turn the powers back to the states.

It's time to demand illegal immigration STOP!

Bring home all armed service members that are not presently in war zones or supporting those who are.

No more guarding N/S Korea, No more Japan, Germany and the like. We have hundreds of bases around the world, it's time to shut’em down and bring our troops home to guard that cesspool border down south.

Term limits for all who serve in government, no more golden parachutes for congress.

Get caught breaking the law or doing something unethical up in Washington....lose all benefits other than the $20 bill to get their @$$e$ out of D.C.

Enough is enough of this out of control government, democrat and republican.

DON’T BLAME ME, IT’S BUSH’S FAULT!

Mr. ObamaHitler wants you to know that because of George ChimpyMcBush Halliburton, the Arab Spring, and Paula Abdul leaving American Idol the economy is still in the tank. He has nothing to do with it at all. And if he did, at today’s press conference he wanted you to know that it is a shared responsibility between the parties because the Republicans hold the House of Representatives.

Pay no attention to Democrat claims that the GOP really had no power and how dare they act like they did during the debt ceiling debate.

Barack Obama wants no blame for the economic mess we are in.

Truth be told, economies are cyclical. They go up. They go down. Presidents have very little control over economies. But, Presidential policies can mitigate, prolong, or exacerbate economic cycles. That’s what we are seeing with Barack Obama and his policies.

Mr. Barack Hussein ObamaHitler is doing his best to destroy our country and with the help of his DemoNazi buddies Reid and Pelosi he is succeeding. The Obama stimulus failed to create private sector jobs. In fact, a bevy of economists who have looked into it have determined the stimulus may have created public sector jobs, but killed off private sector jobs. Today’s jobless numbers come in better than expected, but it has more to do with people no longer looking for work than people finding jobs.

Shame on Boehner for going along with the DemoNazis.

The vital signs for the economy are weak. And in the present environment, Barack Obama and his advisors are left to explain that if the government stops spending the economy will collapse. Their excuse is like that of an alcoholic who proclaims that if he cannot have just one more drink, the liquor market will collapse.

Barack Obama has become Jimmy Carter faster than Carter became Carter.

Cut the damned the Spending!

We may be forced to raise taxes as they want just to prove to them and to Americans that it just won't work....

Sometimes one just has to touch the hot stove once to see that it's not a smart thing to do.

Translation: You want me to touch the hot stove so that insane lunatics will learn a valuable lesson.

Sorry, that sentiment and callous disregard for my sweat and toil makes you my enemy. We got ALL of Europe to show us that this doesn't work. They aren't just touching the stove, they are strapped bare butt to the stove - and yet not a single damned soul of these Marxist reprobates show any sign of learning.

It may just be that you don't understand that they know what they are doing and are trying to destroy the Free market system.

I'm not going to paint a bulls-eye on me just so that these communists can get a clean shot at me.

OK, I'll admit I'm confused here. You want to surrender and have my taxes raised under the assumption that this is all just a misunderstanding and ruining my investment portfolio, retirement funds and future is an object lesson in bad tax policy. I object to being robbed in the futile effort to make a point that is allegedly being made all over the planet as we write. And yet somehow out of that you think I support the Ruling Class in the form of Speaker Boehner.

It may just be easier to go Galt.

I'm not going to jump off the cliff to prove that one gets killed upon hitting the bottom. If you want, you can go teach that lesson.

I stopped there.

"being forced" to do something and "wanting to" do something are two different things all together.

What I WANT to do is see major cuts in the budget, debt ceiling lowered and a balanced budget. That's what I WANT to see.
