The regime has been lying about the tea party pats for so long trying to goad them into some sort of violence so they can claim that the tea party pats are racist and violent neither of which are true, but its what they are after.

There is no doubt that the unemployment rate is much higher than the official statistics. One indication is the use of food stamps. The number is now over 45 million compared to the 32 million when Obama took office.

I got this in an e-mail. ‘”If the US Government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year, and have $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing “BIG” spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level that we can understand.” - Dave Ramsey’

With well over half of the country claiming support for the Tea Party, with numbers growing daily...it ain’t working. Their lie is only making our numbers grow. So, when they lie about us, it’s having the opposite desired effect.

Likewise, they tried destroy Palin with their lies, destortions, and law suits. They failed. I reject the notion that “if you tell a lie long enough, people begin to believe it.”

As I said previously, so i say again, if Obama declares martial law on well over half the country, he will be seen as the un-Constitutional enemy of the State...not us. Barry does this at his own peril.

” Instead, the Reps continue to draw some sort of moral equivalency between what Reps did and what Obama is doing”

Agree that they need to start saying “ He was elected on changing the way washington works”.

Now see what that Change really meant. He’s overpromised, undelivered, and factually misrepresented to the detriment of the nation where we need to be finacially.

Nuff said.

They respond with their normal drivel. Just repeat the above.

I’ll call Rush right now....got him on speed dial...just kidding.

It’s good to see other like minded people on this thread realizing we need to keep educating ourselves and others as to the reality of our economy in real terms. This whole “deficit/budget battle” has caused me to inform myself more about the current state of the economy.

I'm watching the re-run of FNS and just got through the S&P / Bill Miller / Paul Ryan segment. It sounds like the inside-the-beltway guys don't understand the underlying argument from S&P; raising an arbitrary limit called the Debt Ceiling and spending money until you hit that number, then raise it again, IS NOT FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY!!!!!

I also heard Chris Wallace ask the longest question he ever asked, setting borders and fences around a question to Paul Ryan; "Would you vote for tax increases?" And Ryan's answer was pretty good; he would need to see what the deal is before he could even begin to answer any hypothetical questions about potential arrangements to make a draft agreement.

And the patriot's lightning round answer to the lightning round question, "what would you do to improve the jobs situation in this country? " is.....

"I would take active measures to get all illegal aliens off American payrolls tomorrow, so that the employers would have to hire Americans to fill those jobs. I do not believe the jobs would just disappear if the employers have to hire Americans to fill them. After all, those jobs exist right now because there is an actual need to have somebody do that work, and the employer should not need a stimulus payment or a tax credit to keep paying somebody to do that job.

If the lifers inside the beltway would only understand why jobs are created, maybe they could figure out what can be done to make the jobs environment better.

The unemployment rate for blacks in the inner cities is probably close to 50%.

****

These people are not even counted as unemployed. They are off the grid entirely. In order to keep the official number below 10%, the total number of “workers” has been readjusted to a lower number regularly.

In other words, thousands of ex-paycheck receivers are readjusted into being treated as self-employed, retired, or independently wealthy.

“I loved it yesterday when Stu said he was European, and he did not want to see US become Europe.”

Stu’s been really irate over BHO & the lib politicians’ causing this downgrade. I loved it even more a few days ago when he was talking about why BHO’s mission to convert us into Europe isn’t working. He said with a lot of conviction something like, “We do NOT take kindly to attempts to turn us into Europe. We’re different from those other countries - we’re Americans!”

Another great Brit who cares a lot about America is Daniel Hannan, a real conservative, member of European Parliament who’s quite outspoken about the path BHO’s taking us down - been on Glenn Beck and many other FNC shows. He wrote a book, The New Road to Serfdom: A Letter of Warning to America, and has a lot of excellent speeches on youtube - below is one link:

http://blog.heritage.org/2010/10/05/daniel-hannan-to-america-get-off-the-road-to-serfdom-and-actualize-the-american-ideal/

If you’re not familiar with him, read the description as well - he’s also often outspoken on Parliament floor against the oppressive EU, British leadership and the Islamization of Europe. He’s a big fan of our founding documents and ideals.

It’s a helluva note when there are foreigners who care more about America than the President (ugh), his administration, his supporters and the MSM.

“That super-duper budget committee will be a bust if we’re lucky.”

I’m pretty sure the super committee will be challenged in the courts and found to be unconstitutional. How swiftly it can move through the courts is another question.

Tonight, there was a 2 hour special on FNC hosted by Gerri Willis, made up of Fox Business brains like Elizabeth McDonald (E-Mac) and several other good ones. She was putting out some names to be on it that she’d heard (I didn’t get to hear all of it or who her source was), but one was Paul Ryan. Well, duh - of COURSE he should be one of the members. I was wondering if Boehner and McConnell would put a token Tea Partier on their respective sides, but don’t know if either of them dare.

It’ll be very interesting, and this discussion of balancing the budget, significant cuts, etc. will have to come up many times between now and next November. And BHO et al will hate every minute of it. :-)

“Is Obama going to WI on his bus tour?”

That and Detroit will probably be stellar destinations for him with the homies.
