A Mormon
A Marxist
A Moron
A Muslim

Which one would you choose to be president?. The way I see it, we have three of these in our current president. A Mormon would be a real step up.

Bottom line - Mormonisn is a cult...a perversion of true Christianity. Joseph Smith was a 19th Century David Koresh or more correctly a L. Ron Hubbard. He was a flim flam man of the highest degree. Anyone foolish enough to buy into that is NOT going to get my vote for POTUS....better an atheist than a psuedo Christian.

IF the GOP is dumb enough to give Romney the nomination...then I will (for the first time in my 57 years) vote for a third party candidate or just leave the ballot blank.

I am a firm believer in “freedom of conscience” in religious belief. Meaning all persons should be free to believe, or not, whatever their conscience dictates...I will not ever attempt to force my beliefs on another (besides it is impossible to make someone believe as you do by force). However, I don’t have to subsidize false beliefs by placing a devout Mormon in the office of POTUS. I’m already sick of the various commercials out there attempting to hide the falseness of Mormonisn....I don’t want a POTUS to will lend further legitimacy to a false belief system. It is all ready hard enough to defend REAL CHRISTIANITY without all the false versions out there.

I won’t ever vote for Romney...never ever!

Romney’s Mormonism is a non-issue to me.

Well maybe it should be. From my experience in my travels around this great country I have found (and been told) that Mormons generally hold their loyalty to the church (and fellow Mormons) above all else.

My Grandfather-in-law who lived in Idaho told me about how they take over towns. Once they get a majority (or at least political power) they push all the business to fellow Mormons. He was a Gas/Oil delivery truck driver back in the 1940s/50s...he said that he lost many a delivery to small towns that went Mormon. He was politely told that his services were no longer neede and that he was not to be seen again in the town.

Mitt would have serious trouble in the Midwestern states that know of or have a history with Mormonism. Let us not forget that Missouri is the only state that actually made the killing of Mormons legal for awhile (to get them to leave). There was no "season"...Mormons and Coyotes were fair game year round.

Absolutely devastating, because it would mean we let the commentariat pick our candidate by default.

I’m not leaving the house for anyone but Palin, and maybe Bachman.

His religion is a non-issue for me and most other people.

However what I think will happen is that after he gets the nomination the MSM will pull out all its stops and put his religion front and center.

And believe me, there are enough nutty and racist things about Mormonism that it will be hard for him to get elected.

The problem is not his religion, it’s the fact that he is a RINO.

Why settle for “a real step up” with a liberal Mormon? They’re all the same; their ideology is in opposition to our Constitutional form of government.

Stop talking about this dude.

He is no one.

He is a secret agent.

He is invisible.

Where has he been for the last two years?

Where was he on the Debt Ceiling Debate?

Waiting for the wind to blow so he could stand around saying “That’s not the position I would have taken”. sic

Really?

What is your grand illustrious position?

Crickets...That’s what.

BTW: Just so you understand. Jesus Christ wrote the Book of Mormon. If you read the Book of Mormon in the same way and with the same attitude that secular progressives read the Bible, you will never realize it.

for general info...from Expedia:

Missouri Executive Order 44, also known as the "Mormon Extermination Order"[1] (alt. exterminating order)[2] in Latter Day Saint history, was an executive order issued on October 27, 1838, by Governor of Missouri Lilburn Boggs. The directive was issued in the aftermath of the Battle of Crooked River, a clash between Mormons and a unit of the Missouri State Guard in northern Ray County, Missouri during the so-called "Mormon War" of 1838. Insisting that the Mormons had committed "open and avowed defiance of the laws", and had "made war upon the people of this State," Boggs precipitously directed that "the Mormons must be treated as enemies, and must be exterminated or driven from the State if necessary for the public peace—their outrages are beyond all description."

In reality, few Mormons were summarily killed, but the order did force them to use good judgement and leave the state of Missouri.

How bad would it be to have a Mormon President?

If he were a conservative, not bad at all.

Bitter? I see the duplication of idea from my post, but I don’t understand why my post shows bitterness?

I just clarified the real author of the Book of Mormon, that’s done in testimomy not in bitterness.

Enjoy your Sabbath day.

I will never vote for anyone who professes Mormonism. I was raised in that cult.

The LSM is getting concerned that their boy Mitt is in trouble.

So, from now until the convention, they will be flogging the "freedom of religion - no religious test" meme.

As soon as they get Romney nominated, it will be a different story.

Magic spectacles, temple garments, Satan brother of Jesus, hie to Kolob 24/7 - Warren Jeffs may even make an appearance if it's close.
