45% of college students are not “woefully underperforming” because of a lack of government intervention.

45% (it’s more like 85%) are underperforming BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO STUPID TO GO TO COLLEGE.

Well, and because the colleges are now too stupid to send a kid to.

The entire education system is a mess.

High schools have to have an exit exam to show some proficiency for 14 years of instruction (Pre-K up).

Colleges have entrance exams because they don’t trust the high school exit exams (and so they can identify which remedial classes are needed — reading? writing? math?)

Now the Feds control all the education loans — BIG EDUCATION!

MANY never graduate.

MANY run up huge loans and crippling loan payments (A Scottish academic last week is asking that students be allowed to sell a kidney to help pay off their loans).

WHAT kind of usable skills and knowledge are they churning out?

They’re churning out radicalized socialist ideologues.
