This meme will backfire badly because it’s provably wrong and impossible to support with a coherent argument.

S&P is already on record as to why they downgraded. They downgraded because of the debt itself, not because of the tea party’s struggle to REDUCE the debt.

Schultzy belongs in a loony bin with padded walls but lets hope they don’t put her there until after the election.

The rating downgrade was the price for holding the line on the debt ceiling to pay incurred debts. It’s going to continue to get worse until we have full employment.

“This is the Tea Party downgrade because a minority of people in the House of Representatives countered even the will of many Republicans in the United States Senate who were prepared to do a bigger deal," Kerry said.

For reals, player? How many House RATS voted for Boehner's plan?

Wasserman Schultz noted in a tweet Monday that she agreed with Kerry, calling the Tea Party "tyrants" who blocked a more comprehensive bargain on the debt ceiling.

Cocker Spaniel Schultz puts the "twit" in Twitter.

The communists and MSM are working in overdrive right now to define the debate and place this downgrade squarely in the laps of the Americans.

Where are the republicans? Why nothing from our side, including the tea party freshmen? There must be a concerted decision to stay silent, believing that the public will instinctively blame Hussein, and that any piling on runs the risk of boomerang. Silence has been deafening.

Liberialism is not just a political thing. It is a a very tightly controlled cultural/social phenomenon: Listen to NPR, listen to entertainment media.

It is stifling how rigid the jokes and thought processes have to be. Robotic laughs from Palin jokes and Tea Party Jokes.

One must NEVER question liberalism at parties, work or in political arena.

Just laugh and re-tweet the same joke. DO NOT question the false premise.

The Obama maladministration has stated that the down-grade was due to a $2.0 trillion mathematical error on the part of S&P, and that it should not have occurred in the first place.

So, if the credit rating was erroneously lowered, what exactly is it that is the Tea Party's fault?

The DNC and the Whitehouse can't even keep their implausible stories straight.

2010 was the first time DWS had opposition. Karen got a lot but not enough. Karen is a business owner. I saw her debate in the primary. She’s good.

Don’t expect the party that thinks of itself as thoughtful and intellectual to admit that it is clueless.

China is saying the same thing as the TP: stop spending. You want to see a tyrannical force? China. Let’s see if they move into Tawian, or expand into the Pacific, or just dump some more treasuries. The Democrats are clearly more dangerous than Al Queda.

Congress should be reconvening right now for an emergency session to repeal Obama care.
Let Obama veto it.

Or, how about a show of seriousness by anyone,
INCLUDING THE TEA PARTY CANDIDATES we elected last November!

BONER needs to fire up the Buses Too!
Worthless POS!

THERE IS NO BETTER WAY TO COUNTER THE LEFTIST’S ATTACKS!

It’s also the We Must Turn Everything Upside Down Syndrome.

The truth is that the Tea Party congresspeople were the more fiscally conservative and could have forestalled the credit downgrade with more serious spending cuts. The debt limit was really not the issue, so it is unfortunate that some Tea Party congresspeople campaigned on the promise not to raise it. That distorted the negotiations.

But if they had let the Tea Party lead instead of throwing it to the back of the bus with that stupid committee, things would look a whole lot healthier to the rest of the world.
