Court tells Hawaii officials to explain Obama's birth records

California attorney Orly Taitz today secured an order from United States District Court Magistrate Judge Richard L. Puglisi demanding representatives of the Hawaii Department of Health appear in federal court Sept. 14 to show why Taitz should be prevented from seeing whatever original 1961 documents the agency has on record regarding Barack Obama's birth.

Taitz returned to federal court in Honolulu today after Hawaii DOH officials presented her with a letter refusing to comply with her subpoena on grounds that Hawaii privacy laws prevented officials from releasing Obama birth records to the public.

"It's ridiculous," Taitz told WND.

She had argued previously – without getting a response from the state – that Obama had waived all privacy rights by releasing his long-form birth certificate to the American public at a White House press conference April 27.

If there is no original that could certainly be interesting after zero released that supposed copy of the original. Wonder if there’s a fraud law to cover that. The implications are sort of mind boggling.

Since he did not use the "document" to secure a passport, driver license, etc. I would assume that there is no legal fraud.

OTOH, in the court of public opinion - if proven to be a fabrication from "records", he would be toast ...

You would think that if Taitz had really gotten a federal judge to issue an order she prepared, that WND would see fit to link to an image of the order with the judge’s signature on it. The one this article links to is unsigned.

IIRC there was another article about a month ago in which Taitz made a similar claim concerning a court order and again it was signed by a court clerk and not the judge.

Yup. What they sent was an “abstracted copy” which can be pretty much whatever they want it to be and can be from multiple sources.

An abstracted copy is not even legally valid to get a drivers license or a passport.

Do a google search on “abstracted copy” and birth certificate to find out what it is and is not. It's a real eye opener on how bad we have been had and how in the tank the media is for Obama. All any reporter had to do was a simple web search to discover that an abstracted copy is meaningless.

And as much as I respect and honor Dick Cheney, I think that he blew it big time. He was a sort of last bastion against the fraud and criminality of Obama's certification as a legal candidate, (in his role as president of the senate) and he signed off on- I believe that it was some kind of certification of eligibility that was presented by Pelosi- which allowed the imposter to become president. It was on FR at the time.

If it were a non-issue, Hawaii DOH would simply turn over the records, without needing to be subpoenaed. WTF?
