I think George W. Bush buying a million acres in Paraguay says a LOT about the possible future of this country. I don’t think it was just for investment purposes.
Never heard that rumor before...so I took a moment to source it.
Purportedly, it's 98,400 A. -- not a million acres.
The report came from something called "Russian Intelligence" in 2007 -- which claimed that Jenna fronted the deal. And it was picked up by the likes of a.) The Guardian, b.) Counterpunch, c.) Pimpinturtle, d.) Wonkette and e.) something called "The Power Hour".
And it has been denied by Paraguay, the U.S. State Department and Bush spokespersons.
So, why would a FReeper repeat such a spurious story...from such unreliable sources?
