Like it or not, everyone in this country gets a vote. And if enough “freaked out white men” vote, we get represented in government.
And, a majority of the House was not elected by “freaked out white men”. That majority could have done anything they agreed to and the representatives elected by the “freaked out white men” couldn’t have done a thing to stop it. I haven’t heard anything about that.
I’ve heard a lot about how Boehner had to submit to the tea party against his will. But nothing about how the Democrats went to Boehner and said “you don’t need them. Neither of us like their demands so let’s work together on something we both like more than the tea party’s demands”

Actually I have noticed it is led by many empowered women and not men at all. I understand that the Dems would not really like to be perceived attacking empowered women that will take them out at the kneecaps using the election ballot.
I suspect some welfare types are running a scam with it -- hold a make-work "community service" job for enough time to qualify for unemployment, arrange to be laid off, spend 99 weeks collecting unemployment, then back to a "community service" job for just long enough to qualify for another 99 weeks of unemployment.
