Solzhenitsyn and Machiavelli explain it well....no God....no Objective Truth—no right and wrong—except what the powerful says it is. Arbitrary law is all there is.
Cultural Marxism deliberately has been removing God and Spirituality from the public schools and public square where it has always had a Constitutional right to be—starting deliberately in the 50’s, although Dewey instilled moral relativism to kill off the Moral Absolutes of Christianity in the 30’s.
McGuffey Readers were filled with God and Duty and Justice and courage—all what is found in the “banned” Classical literature which used to be the vanguard of education and wisdom—now it is the promotion of emotional feelings (gay marriage, global warming) and the subversion of truth, over intellectual discussion and what is Good and Evil for civil societies and economies. Children are told lies about history and nature—like heather has two mommies—to destroy the Bible and spirituality. Also they are trying to destroy the Patriarchy—the system which is the best designed one for the development of emotionally healthy children who have healthy role models. Children with no healthy male role models end up in prison or in gangs usually and that is what Marxism wants to breed—a bunch of non-thinking thugs who are just plain stupid and act on emotional impulses which they can’t really control.
Children are being raised with no moral conscience unless the family makes a deliberate effort to instill, and it is hard because all media and public schools do everything to destroy those “fixed” beliefs—the Christian values of Good and Evil. Prior to the 1950’s there was much more support for Christianity. With the end of the cultural support, we see the destruction of American culture which is degrading into chaos which needs more nanny government.
If they can destroy Christian values—then the State can determine the new “values”—always ends up like Stalin’s Russia...Read The Gulag Archipelago to find out the ugliness, cruelty and slavic conditions of moral relativism.
Christian values have led to the most success and freedom for all when practiced. No other ideology has worked for such a diverse population. Maybe, Confucius’ ideology and the Ethics of Aristotle—but then they believed in the divine spark of the soul and Universal Truths, just like Christianity.
Bump.
Good post, Susie!!!
