Sharpton had a more memorable line back when he was running for president and someone in the press asked him why he wasn't getting the respect from Democrats that Jesse Jackson received in previous White House runs.
Sharpton said, "Sometimes you have to nudge the donkey and sometimes you have to push the donkey and then sometimes you have to slap the donkey!
It's one of my all-time favorite political quotes. I loved it so much, I toyed with the idea of starting a SlapDaDonkey.com website.

Hmmm, Al Gore, Al Franken, and Al Sharpton. You forgot Al (c)Hunt and Al Qaeda.

I’ve listened to Al Sharpton’s radio show when I was working in Atlanta.
100% of his callers were blaming whitey for keeping them down and, although he wasn’t actively encouraging them to do so, he did nothing to slow them or challenge them.
It is sad that there are so many self described victims out there who descended from slaves who were treated a thousand times worse, but didn’t complain even a fraction of what their descendents do.

What? You don’t like Hannity’s “good friend” and favorite guest? Well, I don’t know if he’s Hannity’s favorite but he sure has him on there a lot.
One of the reasons I don’t watch very much.

Yes, I agree that those slaves would be shocked to see what their ancestors have done with their freedom.

I don’t like to dwell on it, but I’ve never thought Hannity was the sharpest pencil in the box. He means well. I don’t think he’s a bad guy, but quite often he really doesn’t get it.
