He also waged a defense of low taxes for corporations with a response Corporations are people, my friend on which Democrats quickly seized.
Well, he's right. Corporations are just groups of people.

It probably wasn’t a heckler.
It was just an echo — Romney had changed his position by the time the sound made it back to him.

I believe this is all orchestrated by the Obama Administration to make Romney the candidate.

Romney needs to get used to it. He has a lot to answer for.
My question to him would be:
How do you justify your pro-abortion stance with your religious Mormon beliefs?

“I believe this is all orchestrated by the Obama Administration to make Romney the candidate.”
Or even staged by Romney himself.

Isn't that an oxymoron?

More likely by Romney to demonstrate he has some fire in his belly.

He also waged a defense of low taxes for corporations with a response Corporations are people, my friend on which Democrats quickly seized. Romney, and any other Republican running for President should continue to drive this point home. Corporations ARE people, and the success of those corporations helps the middle class by providing jobs, dividends, and pension payouts. Even for those corporations not offering pensions directly, their success allows 401(k)s, IRAs, annuities, and other retirement funds to pay out a good return for their holders--middle class holders.
This is also true for government pension plans.

Those wern`t Americans yelling at the RINO with no answers, those were Socialists screaming,
” What are you going to do to save Socials Security, Medicade and Medicare without cutting benefits !?”
THERE YOU HAVE IT.

It was just an echo Romney had changed his position by the time the sound made it back to him. HA! I love it.
To: McGruff
Yes it is an oxymoron, but the hit was planned out. I am not a Romney fan, but he did well. I am sure more of these kinds of tactics will happen.

Yeah seeing the video on Fox it seemed like he set it up himself. It isn’t hard to find lunatic liberals in Des Moines. They are leeches on the system of course they don’t want their freebies taken away.

I'm not a fan of Mitt Romney but he responded to a liberal plant with a completely accurate comment that corporations are made up of people, not just buildings. Of course, when a corporation fails, people get hurt. Ask General Motors employees. Oh, wait.
Romney also told the hecklers that if they wanted someone to raise their taxes, to vote for Obama. Since the type of liberal plants that haunt these Republican political events probably don't have a job, they pay little or no taxes and likely believe that 'only the rich' should pay anything but they are entitled to lots of 'government money'. Romney is a RINO and not 'my' candidate but he did respond fairly intelligently to these liberal hecklers, although it would have been better to just ignore them.

Don’t know why nobody seems to be able to say the obvious truth: Corporations don’t pay taxes, consumers pay taxes. Period. An increase in tax on oil is an increase on joe sixpack as he tries to get to work. “Consumers pay all taxes” should be the words coming out of everyone’s mouth.
