Chicago, August 11, 2011 This week U.S. Senator Dick Durbin held a press conference with members of the mainstream media to talk about the downgrade crisis. But the Senators scripted storyline veered off-course when a conservative reporter me showed up to ask an embarrassing question. Namely, Senator, youve blamed the tea party but do you bear any responsibility for this downgrade crisis?

Good for Mr Kelly.
That says it all.
Blaming the tea party is akin to blaming the passengers on the Titanic.
durbin’s disgusting.
“Dick Durbin, U.S. senator, is here. Stand up, Dick, let ‘em see you!”
HA! Way to go, Bill!
We have a free and unbiased media........hahahahahahahaha! Oh, that one always cracks me up.
press - n - a) The collecting and publishing or broadcasting of news; journalism in general. b) The entirety of media and agencies that collect, publish, transmit, or broadcast the news. c) The people involved in the media, as news reporters, photographers, publishers, and broadcasters.
con·fer·ence - n - a) A meeting for consultation or discussion. b) An exchange of views.
This guy was great! All the Democrat political hacks in Illinois need to be questioned this way. It was refreshing to watch.
Certainly Durbin is disgusting. but the Media is in this farce up to their necks.
Are they not equally disgusting?
The question would have been easily answered if Durbin had an answer,he didn’t, He reads the talking points for the day, goes out and spills them out of his lying mouth and the Media eats it up.
He was making the rounds on all the radio talk shows yesterday and his line was very pre-scripted. Also no calls from the public or questions were allowed. This guy has got to go but unfortunately the state of Illinois is hopeless. I think they know they are in trouble and if they don’t turn public opinion around soon they will loose big in 2012.
But it’s OK for SEIU/Soros/dnc-funded hecklers to shout down Conservatives? Mr.Kelly cunducted himself quite respectfully. Another glaring difference between us and them.
for later
Good old “dick” Durbin. His campaign slogan is “you can’t lick our dick.” What a disgraceful individual.
the msm is beyond disgusting.
they’ve long abandoned their principal responsibility
to inform americans.
Let’s tell Jim Anderson what we think of his fascist journalism.
Jim Anderson, News Director

Fantastic. Kudos to Mr. Kelly. Expose the press for their hypocrisy. They are trying to prevent him from asking a question. They are obviously leftist totalitarians themselves. DIck Durbin comes off looking like the complete jerk and supporter of tyranny that he is.
*snip*
You may remember Dick.
Hes the Senator that hysterically compared the treatment of the Gitmo detainees to Nazis, Soviet gulags, and Pol Pot. While calling for an end to hateful rhetoric, hes the one who wrongfully pointed his crooked finger at the Tea Party Movement and Gov. Sarah Palin, blaming them for the Tucson massacre and the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.
*snip*
My objective: some journalistic balance. Not only did Durbin refuse to answer the question but his cronies in the Chicago media went on the attack.

I stood my ground and asked the question a number of times. Youre not allowed to ask questions during a press conference, bleated Anderson.
We are going to have you thrown out by the cops, he said, running interference for Durbin. In addition to doing news for the Illinois Radio Network, Anderson apparently moonlights as an unpaid member of Dick Durbins staff.
A special agent was soon dispatched to have me escorted out of the room, where I, as press, had a right to be. At least, thats what I read, once upon a time, in the U.S. Constitution.

There it is on graphic display .. the corrupt, abusive, infected herd media everywhere.
Everybody elses fault except for Senator Downgrade and President Downgrade.
Good for the reporter.
