Nothing can be designed that is 100 percent perfect, but then cops leaving while someone bleeds out is not the answer either and that is why we have the current laws.

Arresting someone for something that may or may not have happened is stretching the “it's not perfect but if it saves one life it's worth it” mantra. In fact, it's what the founders would call unconstitutional. For example, I could call the DEA and make a bogus claim about you. Then a SWAT team will come in, shoot your dogs, fire of 70+ rounds in your general direction, and take your kids from you. But you know, it is more important that we have a law that violates a Constitutional right than an average American potentially selling weed.
