Matthews is definitely deteriorating ~ he reminds me of one of the big bosses at work ~ he'd worked his way up the ranks and then one day he was robbed on his way out the door of the hotel he was staying at ~ right across from Central Park in NYC at about rush hour.

He wasn't sure how it happened.

Within months he was retired and last we heard he developed Alzheimers pretty quickly after that.

Chris sounds much like he did during that period between the robbery and his retirement. Even some of the same breaks in logic.
