Federal judge throws out Obama drilling rules

CHEYENNE, Wyo. (AP) -- A judge on Friday threw out Obama administration rules that sought to slow down expedited environmental review of oil and gas drilling on federal land.

U.S. District Judge Nancy Freudenthal ruled in favor of a petroleum industry group, the Western Energy Alliance, in its lawsuit against the federal government, including Interior Secretary Ken Salazar.

Then what's to stop the people he presumes to regulate illegally from ignoring HIM? All the capability to ignore that which stands in our way shouldn't be on one side of the aisle. If the companies ignore his now illegal edicts and do what they want, and he wants to do something about it, he'll have to take them to court, the self-same entity that told him he couldn't regulate!
