“The Lost Patrol’’ is a good movie made really tense because if I remember the officer in charge of the patrol is killed without revealing what the exact nature of the mission is.
I’m not sure they had any specific “mission” other than patroling the desert. None of them seemed to have any idea where they were after the officer was killed, anyway.
