Candidates do not sell tix; they buy tix and then give them away. Anyone that purchased a ticket at the gate could have walked up to any candidate’s booth and asked for a free ticket. You then use that ticket to go into the voting booth and cast your secret ballot for any candidate you choose.

It was a great turnout and a lot of fun. I took my daughters, age 13 and 14, and they loved it even though they thought it would bore them to death.

There were no admission tickets. If you bought one at the gate, it was to vote. Candidates were giving comps...
