In Texas, our border is a winding river. A fence is straight and on the land. Land that is farmed and ranched — and lived on.

He made remarks against the fence that is wide open in too many places and cuts ranchers off from the rest of the State, cattle from water, and the Border patrol from the true border: the Rio Grande.

Dont confuse them with reality. I dont know how much good a fence or walal would do anyway. We have already seen them tunnel under. The issue isnt preventing border crossing. Its sending them back when we find them. Until more than half of Congress and the President are willing to do that, we will continue to have the problem.
