Romney is finished. If he cannot do better then this in the Midwest, and he cannot win south of the Mason Dixon line, where does he put together a win of the Nomination?

I hope Romney is finished, but we won’t know until NH speaks. Maybe not even then. :(

If Romney is finished, it has nothing to do with the straw poll, which history has shown has little to do with predicting the eventual nominee and a lot more to do with rewarding the candidates who showed up. After all, Romney ran away with the 2007 straw poll, and it didn't seem to do him much good. McCain, the eventual nominee, came in 10th with less than 1% of the vote!
The real bad news for Romney this weekend is Perry entering the race, for a lot of reasons that don't need to be re-plowed here. Romney had nothing to fear from the rest of the field as it stood last Friday. Now he does have something to worry about.
